Where Vision Drives Workforce Development and Community Impact

CWDSF was unified in 2018 as a 501(c)(3), the result of a Community Benefits Agreement between JBG Smith and the residents of NW Washington, DC. It operates as a workforce development center that delivers high-quality career training programs through an inventive new model. A community empowerment fund prepares residents with the skills, support, and opportunities to rise while addressing racial disparities in DC’s labour market and paving the way for long-term economic stability.
